The past year i have bought some books and not yet posted
about some of them. Here are five books that i can recommend

Spring Decoration

Even the snow is still falling (it has been falling on and off
since the 16th of December) but i can not help to sneakpeak
a bit towards spring.



In spring the sheep will be able to be outside again and
enjoy eating fresh grass and other plants. That gave me
the idea for this silly sheep-on-wheels. I just hope he
will not fly off !

Christmas card

I still owed you two pictures of some of this year's christmas
cards, so here they are. The only problem with these cards is
that they are impossible to send in the (regular) mail because
of the bell.

Look what i got !

My friend Jenifer made this sweet box out of a teabag
holder. She decorated it with different kinds of paper,
cardstock and ribbon and i got to recieve it, lucky me !



Inside it she put this gorgeous USB-stick with photographs.
The design on the outside has my name written all over it,
it is the sweetest USB-stick i have ever seen. What a
great present :D

I am way ahead of you

I am the type of person that always makes too many
Christmas cards. I am convinced that it is better to
have too many than to be short some. So i took the surplus
of the past years, matted the cards on Christmas-coloured
cardstock and now already have a beginning for this year's
Christmas card stock.

Birthday party

When we were celebrating my aunt's and uncle's birthdays,
we ofcourse had to eat too. Here are some of the nice salads
that we had. They were really good ! Yes, in our family we love
to bake, cook and eat it afterwards. My niece's eldest son is
even a pastry baker.



And my sister and nephew took care of the musical
framework, playing quatre mains.

New Year

My parents made the newspaper

Well, the place they have a vacation house in and where
there were at the time made the frontpage of a national
newspaper. The photograph that made the frontpage
you see above this text. My parent's vacation house
is below here.

My crafty family : part X

A while ago i posted here about my uncle who crocheted a
fantastic set of potholders for my birthday. The thing is,
those potholders are so pretty that i can not bring myself to
use them. They are hanging in the kitchen, being pretty. So
when we were there between Christmas and New Year
my sister and i got to choose another set of potholders
that we can use. I choose a set in lime and army green.

Family bowling party

In the week between Christmas and New Year we had
another family bowling party and we had lots of fun !
This bowling party was to celebrate the birthdays of my
aunt and uncle.



Excitement all around when the groups were formed.
The two groups of six had a friendly, yet serious battle
because the losers have to give the winners cake.




Ofcourse there were both wet and dry snack to make
sure we would not go hungry or thirsty.

Body craft

Just before 2009 turned into 2010 we had an appointment
at "our" tattoo shop. I say our, because we have all our stuff
done there. My boyfriend wanted a new tattoo on his arm.
It is his name in asian symbols. And i had a new piercing
done. To be specific, it is the one that is highest on my ear.
In my other ear i already have six piercings but this last one
was by far the most painful one.



The reason why we always go to the same tattoo studio is
that we feel that Aig (in the picture below here) is a really
great tattoo artist and Kitty is a really good piercer. Here is
