My sister, her bf, my bf and myself went to see Avatar today,
in the Must See cinema in Delft. I was not impressed, see the
irony here ? Well, i was impressed by the techniques used, by
all means, that is something well worth seeing.



But the rest ... The story is very thin and predictable, the
acting is not good, the movie itself could have been half the
length (too spun out), it is a typical good versus bad movie
with no original twists.I will probably go see part two,
though, just to see if they managed to make it even worse.

I made this table card from som scrapbookpaper scraps
and a part of a cork from a winebottle.

She knits The Naked Truth

My friend Jenifer has been involved in a cool Guerilla knitting
project called The Naked Truth. Together with some other
members of the Stitch 'N Bitch group Delft she knitted
four invisible men who are standing peeing into one of
Delft's canals. The colours blue and white are are typical
for Delft since they are the colours of the porcelain that
Delft is known for, Delft Blue.

My singing family

I do not only have a crafty family, i also have
familymembers that love to sing. Here you can see my
niece in action, she is the one in the pinkish top (to the
left and in the middle). She has been singing in the opera
"Paleisgeheimen" by Dario Fo.

The look of december 20th

Wetfelted scarf and flowerpin

I felted this woolen scarf for my mom to give to her at
Christmas. I made it during a really fun workshop at
Jorunn's. The scarf is quite light and thin but very
warm at the same time.



I also made this flowerbroche to fasten the scarf in the same
burgundy colour as used in the scarf.

My mother has outdone herself this year. This is the Christmas
card she drew. The original is about A3 size and looks really
stunning. It is amazing what she can do with her pencils !

Happy Santa Lucia

Last year i made these three Lucia girls. I recycled some
Christmas gnome candlesticks to make them. If you want to

Winter cube decoration

I made this cute squirrel-and-tree-on-cube decoration to use
during the holidays. I think it worked out really well, so i will
probably make some more of these kind of decorations.
The base of this decoration is made from a recycled wooden
play block.

My crafty family : part VIII

When my sister came to visit a few weeks ago, she made the
glittery snowflakes that come in this kit by K&Company,
you can see her in action in the photograph above this text.
They became so cool that i can truely say that this is one of
the coolest Christmas kits that i have ever seen. It will make
a really nice Christmas present too.

Christmas Heart

This is a Christmas decoration that can be used in the tree,
on a doorknob or wherever you fancy hanging it. It can also
be used as a Christmas greeting or a present-tag.
I used snowy white felt, scrapbookingpaper, ribbon and
some stamps : snowflakes and an alphabet.
