Did you know that you can make your own
"Krimpie Dinkies" with #6 Plastic ? It is fun,
its is free, what do you want more ?
I loved to sit in front of the oven with the light on
watching my "Krimpie Dinkies" shrink down
into a hard piece of plastic. And now you can
make your own, for free ! Just get yourself
some #6 plastic, the number can be found inside
a triangle that is visible on the plastic. Most
plastic containers you can get for food items are #6.
For example yoghurt containers en plastic cutlery.
You can make anything from jewelry, key chains,
magnets, push pins and Clog adornments, aka
Jibbitz. Have fun ;)

Lucky Stars
One of the perfect crafting activities to perform
whilst you are watching tv is the folding of
Lucky Stars or Dream Stars. In the diagram below
you find the explanation how you can fold them.
You can use paper you cut in strips from
magazine-pages or you can buy pre-cut strips.
I use the first variety of paper, the strips i cut
are 1 cm wide and 20 cm long.
The thought behind Lucky Stars is quite similar
to the history about the 1.000 Origami Cranes :
if you make them for a friend or a family-member
or just anyone you think can use some luck, they
will recieve luck or a better health or whatever it
is they lack. True or not, i feel that the giving of
Lucky Stars shows that the giver appreciates
the reciever and that they wish them all the best.

A new bird : Part III
Look at this beauty, the Sea Eagle, and i have seen him.
He is huge with a wingspan of about 2.30 m and is not
often seen where there are a lot of people. The top two
photographs are the actual ones that were published in
paper and the one where he sits on the ice is exactly how
i have seen him too.
The bottom picture is a more detailed one of the eagle.

A peek in the bookcase
A peek in the bookcase will show you this :
a line-up of some of the figures i made in the
last year. Everytime i walk past the bookcase
i can not suppress a smile as they stand there,
looking and smiling at me. Ofcourse i could put
the figures away and only let them come out
of their box the "right" time of the year, but
for now, i will enjoy them standing there.
