Christmas Gnomes

Last year i made these Christmas Gnomes.
A set to (for example) decorate the Christmas
dinner table and a set made from wool to hang
in the Christmas tree. Both sets were made with
materials by Panduro. The quality of the materials
is really good and the results are as pretty as they
appear in the pictures. Also lots of fun to make them
together with friends and family.

Santa Lucia Makeover

I have a bunch of these Christmas Angels. In the holder
beside the angel you can burn a small candle. Sweet, but
not really in use so i decided to try out a makeover for one
of these angels. Since it will soon be Santa Lucia Day, the
13th of december to be precise, i choose to turn the angel
into a Lucia Girl. Did she not turn out the custest ? If you

Mah-Jong family : Part II

A few weeks ago my cousin Joost (photograph no.1)
organised our third (bi)Annual Family Mahjong Tournament.
There were 21 participants if i am right and eventhough that
is only a small part of our family we had lots of fun. We played
during the afternoon and the better part of the evening.



Here you can see my dad in action, very concentrated
on the game. The winner of the tournament will recieve
the Ketelbink Jopie Award, which is named after my dad.
It was he that brought the game of Mahjong to the family
when returning from a journey when he was working in
the intercontinental seafaring business.



Here are my mum and sister playing at the same table,
my mum bottom left and my sister top right.

And here i am, playing one of the last games of that day.

Christmas Clip-On

I made a Christmas-Clip-On-Ornament
(after i sawone like this earlier) and i think
it turned out very cute. I am going to try out
different clipping possibilities with the next
ones, and try out different stem widths to
make it even cuter still. But as a first
draft i am very content with the result.

In Print

A while ago i had the opportunity to have a design of
mine made into a Christmas Card for my employer
hich would be sent to all these employer's relations.
Well, what do you say then ... YES PLEASE !!!

So here is the design that reached the official
Christmas-Card-Status :



It is a mixed media project, made of cardboard,
glass, metal, fabric and paper. The first photo is
the front of the card and the second one the inside.

Birthday Cards

Two birthday cards i made using various Scrapbooking
papers, other papers and stamps. One is for a person
celebrating their birthday in november and the other
for someone celebrating in december, it is quite obvious
but i thought i would mention it.

She is crafty !!

I told you before that my friend Jenifer is very crafty.
Since she began to knit she has been knitting like a
rocket. Socks, mobile-pouches, you name it.



But she is crafty in other ways too. One of them
is that she paints, how cool are these ?

ATC : December

This December ATC is not a Christmas ATC.
I used some scrapbook paper and cradstock, some
musical paper, a page from an old book and only
two stamps, by Inkadinkado. I also got to use my
new gelpens, love those. I got a package of really
nice ones from a store nearby and eventhough they
were really cheap, they are super.

ATC's : More Christmas

More ATCs. This time made with the Clearly
Impressed Stamp Set by Christine Adolph for
Stampington. How i love the stamps she creates.
She has been designing lots of stamps for
Stampington and i think i have most of them.
They are just gorgeous.

Pinecone People

Remember that i made some of these skiing Pinecone Girls ?
Well, those kind of Pinecone Skiers are now featured in the
Holiday issue of BHG-Magazine.

Recycle Cat Toys

Okey, this is not a craft, but since i am a catlover i

wanna share this idea with you. This is the ultimate

cat toy ... It is actually the ball that is inside a roll-on

deodorant. So that means that nearly everyone has

a unlimited supply of these cat toys in their house

already, how much fun is that.

ATC : November

I made this ATC with a November-theme : Ice-Blue.
I am not fond of the colour blue, except when it is Ice-Blue
of Aqua-Blue. It describes the weather from last week very
well : it was very cold, there was snow, there was ice.
A really early winter treat. I love the combination of this
icey blue with coffee brown.

I have now officially started on my Christmas Cards
and ATCs. It is really fun to work with new stamps
like this Deer from Inkadinkado.
