Birthday Party

Three weeks ago i had my birthday and i decided i wanted
to organise a High Tea for my family and some friends.
My mother, sister and me made all the cakes, pies and other
snacks ourselves the day before my birthday. It was a lot
of fun and everybody enjoyed the food very much ! We had
lots of food, here is a sample to give you an idea :

chocolate cake with coffee cream - oats&apple cake

spinach&olive pie - dutch butter cake

egg&ham pie - puffy pizza snacks (no pic)

garlic mayonaise - herbs&spice butter

leek&ham salad - cream cheese&ham rolls

stuffed eggs - freshly baked baguettes (no pic)

An exhibition

A friend of my father's (they have been friends ever since they
went to school together, which is about 60 years ago) is having
an exhibition in this hotel in the city of Delft. He makes the most
beautiful watercolour paintings and we are looking forward to
go and look at them.

Yet another cowl

A "tweed" one this time in greys and greens.

A Thank You heart ...

... for my aunt's neighbour
who gave me lots of buttons
and fabric she had laying
around and was not using.
So nice of her !!
