When we were in Copenhagen we dined in two places : in Teaterkælderen in the celler of Det Ny Teater and in Jensen's Bøfhus. I really liked the second restaurant. Good food and it was cheap too. The ambiance of the restaurant was relaxed and the service very friendly.
About 15 years ago i started to really get into beading and jewellery crafting and i did that for five years. Then i lost interest but lately i felt like doing some jewellery crafting again and i really enjoyed it !!
A visit to Copenhagen would not be complete without a visit to Søstrene Grene, they have their origins there after all. I was a good girl and did not buy the whole store, but i did have to pick up some bits and bobs !
Last week we were in Copenhagen for a seminar and we were staying in the Copenhagen Crown hotel. The hotel was really nice and very close to the city centre. A photographic impression :
In the autumn vacation my mother and sister were visiting and we did a lot of knitting. There were quite some things that we did not get to finish, but here are some examples of the things we did finish.
With this Quick Knit (Knifty Knitter) loom, i created this mohair collar. I did not use the normal stitch, but a double twist stitch. Afterwards, i crocheted a tiny border to it to finish it off nicely.
I have been published in the norwegian magazine
Ett Trykk, which is a stamping and scrapbooking
magazine. I have been published in a dutch
magazine before, but that was with "only" one
project and this time, six of my projects are
featured !

I am sure all crafters can relate to the following :
a crafter to his or her partner : "What do you mean, exactly, "Don't you have enough of this stuff" ?" (followed by a threatening growl) the partner : "Ehm, nothing sweetie, nothing at all ..." (scurries away with tail between hind legs)
Anyway, you can never have too much happy coloured tape, right ?
For the second time this year, the Mah-Jong club that my parents (and two others) are founders of, organised a tournament. This time a national NTS Tournament.
It was a lot of fun, but the counting of all the points is always something that has to be done meticulously, something that my father (to the left) is very good at.
