Should you be visiting Rogaland, be sure to take a trip to
Hå Gamle Prestegard. This used to be the dwelling of the local
priest but has now been turned into a place where art and local
history is being displayed. The house was built in 1637.
Another interesting building that lies just a few hundred metres
further is the lighthouse, Obrestad Fyr, which dates from 1873.
At the Sola Strandhotel there is a great buffet where you can
enjoy a lot of different kinds of local food.
If you enjoy taking pictures of stormy skies, these are the places
for you. We were at these places when the weather was really
heavily overcast and that made them extra beautiful and a bit
eerie.
