Birthday Dim Sum @Walong

Today i took my friends Tom and Maureen to the best Dim Sum
restaurant in The Netherlands, Walong. That is not only my
opinion by the way, people who know about food, say that as well !

Me taking them there was my birthday gift to them because they
already have everything and this new experience was, according
to them, the best gift possible :)

I have been coming at Walong more than twenty years now, and
eveytime we eat there, the food is fabulous !

Graduation in Leiden

Today we had a Graduation Party in the city of Leiden,
in the beautiful Scheltema complex.

Scheltema's factory was founded in 1817 as a woolen
blanket factory. Now the factory has been restored and
has been turned into the leading complex for art and
science in Leiden.

When in Rotterdam ...

... I can recommend a visit to Essie Darling, where
you can buy exclusive perfumes and care products.

I recieved some money for my birthday which i planned to
spend on a great perfume, and i did !

I picked a scent by Bois 1920 called Le Voluttuose La Vaniglia.

Italian perfume house Bois (pronounced "boyce") 1920
was founded in 1920 by Guido Galardi. Galardi's first
formulas were based around the lavender collected from
the hillsides surrounding Florence. The original company
was short-lived, closing its doors in 1925. The company
was resurrected by Galardi's grandson Enzo in 2005, who
found his creative outlet in reinterpreting the fragrances
created by his grandfather.

I made this heart for Esther
who owns a great perfume
and care boutique in Rotterdam
called Essie Darling which is
where i will be going tomorrow
to buy a bottle of perfume for
my birthday.
